Responsibilities:
Answer phone, online and in person inquiries regarding all residential properties.
Show available properties in person and remotely.
Respond to and record inquiries from our internal software (AppFolio)
Prepare leases and renewal notices for tenants.
Run applications for prospective tenants
Prepare move-in packets
Follow up with new tenants after move-in
Maintain vacancy and property information to assist all staff to answer customer inquiries, and email new listings every two weeks using the website inquiry list and program.
List all vacant properties within 48 hours of acquisition of information.
Monitor leads from external vendors
Complete move-in and move-out inspections.
Identify repairs or updates needed on properties and follow up to ensure completion.
Walk through properties before tenants move in to ensure tenant satisfaction.
Interface with tenants to ensure all complaints are addressed and requirements met.
Meet weekly with the department to discuss property statistics and issues.
Handle various tenant requests including but not limited to complaints, service requests, special requests, payment arrangements
Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor consistent with skills responsibilities.
Qualifications:
One to two years of experience in real estate leasing or sales preferred.
Strong customer service skills, organization, and written and oral communication skills essential.
General computer skills and a valid driver's license are required.
Ability to work with team members to achieve a shared goal or outcome effectively.
Must obtain leasing license within first 120 days (about 4 months) of hire.
