Roofing Foreman

We are looking for a qualified roofing foreman to help manage a crew and provide effective guidance.
Your Primary responsibility will be to lead the crew in roofing activities on the job site, including planning, preparation, execution, and clean-up for on-site workdays.
Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials and techniques - Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements - Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions - Install insulation and vapor barriers to ensure proper temperature regulation - Seal roofs with caulking or other waterproofing materials to prevent leaks - Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and safely Requirements: - Minimum 2 years experience as a roofer - Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe work environment -Must have valid drivers license and daily transportation.
Skills: - Power tools: Proficiency in using power tools commonly used in roofing projects.
- Restore: Ability to restore damaged roofs by repairing or replacing damaged sections.
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy roofing materials and equipment.
- Trim carpentry: Skill in installing trim elements such as fascia boards or soffits.
- Build: Construction skills for building new roofs from scratch.
- Caulking: Proficiency in applying caulking for weatherproofing purposes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills Please note that this is not an entry-level position.
