The Carpenter is responsible for collaborating with the project manager to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and laminate.
Carpenters need to have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment.
By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Carpenter represents the best in the reconstruction industry.
*Carpenter Responsibilities:*
* Perform carpentry work including, but not limited to, building frameworks, installing windows and doors, hanging cabinets, and installing flooring and countertops.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Report to the Project Manager daily.
* Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment required for carpentry work.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Prepare work areas to protect private property while in customer's homes.
* Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
*Requirements:*
* High school Diploma/GED
* 5+ years carpentry experience
* Strong communication, customer service, organization & prioritization skills.
* Able to climb ladders, work at ceiling or greater heights, work in tight spaces, work/sit/stand prolonged periods of time.
* Able to lift 50 lbs.
independently, up to 100lbs with assistance.
* Valid drivers license
