*Duties*
- Schedule jobs to fabrication, paint, and secondary operations to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality obejectives and timelines are met and/or exceeded.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the parts to be fabricated
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces
- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets
- Perform machining operations such as drilling, tapping, and milling
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Rig and use cranes or other lifting equipment to move heavy materials
*Requirements*
- Progressive leadership roles or equivalent experience in liue of
- Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines, CNC lasers, turret punch and other metal fabrication equipment
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as micrometers for precise fabrication
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
- Strong problem-solving skills
