Battery Charger - $40 (Danvers)

For sale is a very old Allstate battery charger sold by Sears, Roebuck, and Co.
I estimate it was built in the 50’s or 60’s but don’t know exactly.
It has new DC leads and the AC cord is about 10 years old.
It has settings for 6, 8, 12, and 24 volt output.
There is plenty of patina but it still works well.
The glass is broken in the charging gauge.
The AC cord grommet needs replaced or adjusted.
It is a heavy charger that is built to last a long time.
It seems to be a rare unit and may go well in a collection as a serviceable tool.
