Reporting to the Director of Stewardship, the Stewardship and Donor Relations Coordinator at Illinois Wesleyan University plays a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive stewardship strategy to foster meaningful connections with our scholarship, annual giving, and leadership donors.
_This is a full time, on-campus position.

*Responsibilities*:
* *Oversees all aspects of the scholarship program at IWU, *including maintaining a portfolio of current scholarship donors for stewardship and gift renewal; collaborating with campus partners to execute spring and fall scholarship awarding procedures; collecting appreciation letters from student scholarship recipients; and maintaining scholarship donor records.
* *Execute a comprehensive program aimed at personal, creative, and highly informative engagement for annual giving donors, *including planning recognition events, and distributing personal communications expressing gratitude and impact.
* *Oversee database management for tracking stewardship activities, analyzing metrics, and creating reports; *leverage the potential of Slate for Advancement database to ensure donor relations and stewardship documents are submitted and updated; understand best practices and establish metrics to benchmark and track programmatic success; discover ways to automate stewardship processes in Slate for Advancement whenever possible.
*Requirements*:
* Bachelor’s preferred; significant experience may substitute for some education
* Three years’ related experience; experience in higher education or non-profit fundraising preferred
* Strong analytical skills including the ability to recognize trends from qualitative and quantitative data
* Occasional travel required; approximately 2-3 overnight events a year
