Position Description
Wally’s inventory team member works as a member of the Inventory Team, and is responsible for providing superior guest service.
In addition, they are also responsible for receiving shipments, stocking shelves, managing back stock, rotating merchandise, building displays, and maintaining accurate records using the standard operating procedures established by the company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Guest service is always the top priority and must be placed above any inventory task being performed.
Successfully complete all assigned tasks, such as pricing, stocking, merchandising, and receiving.
Utilize Wally’s standard operating procedures within the inventory department.
Demonstrate competent use of handheld inventory management devices for receiving and checking in merchandise.
Ability to work independently and to Identify and complete necessary tasks to maintain Wally’s vision and standards.
Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with inventory team, management, and team members.
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
High school diploma or or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Basic math and cash handling skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems using standard operating procedures.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
