*Project Equity Illinois – Cannabis Operations* Project Equity Illinois, in partnership with Cookies®, is proud to announce the opening of three Cookies® Cannabis Dispensaries in Bloomington, Peoria Heights, and Pontoon Beach Illinois.
We’re looking for a Regional Director of Retail Operations with a strong record of success managing all cannabis operations in a multi-location retail sales environment.
*Position Title: Regional Director of Retail Operations* *Classification: *Exempt *Status: *Full-time / travel to retail sites on a regular basis / occasional remote *Reports to: *PEI Executive Leadership *Summary/Objective: *Ensure alignment of PEI/Cookies strategies, goals, and objectives with the operational business plans of the retail dispensaries to maximize profitability, customer retention, and employee satisfaction.
Provide ongoing oversight and support to store GM’s in the execution of administrative/operational processes consistent with brand guidelines and established company goals, policies, and directives.
*Essential Functions: * • Maintain proactive, ongoing communications and engagement with store Managers, Regional Directors (HR, Accounting), and dispensary staff members to be consistently knowledgeable of the business operation; identify and address concerns/issues as needed • Review operational and staff performance to ensure optimization in support of established KPI’s • Daily review of sales/revenue reports (Treez) for all stores as compared to budget/forecasts; communicate with store GM’s to facilitate and manage ongoing initiatives to drive revenue.
• Monitor performance of all stores against established KPI’s; create and provide reports to Partners as requested.
• Communicate and monitor established incentive target goals to store GM’s; provide support, recognition, and encouragement to optimize individual and/or team performance; adjust quarterly target goals as needed/approved.
• Routinely review store Biotrack/METRC exception reports to ensure compliance and maximize process improvement opportunities.
• Weekly review of weighted safe counts, store cash/till variance reports, armored car activity and banking account deposits to ensure compliance accuracy and timeliness of fund receipts.
• Daily review of security incident logs; ongoing required/routine/random surveillance of store activity at all locations.
• Review monthly security reports; upload to PEI Dropbox files • Bi-weekly review of payroll expenses, including OT/meal break expenses; budget adherence.
• Weekly review of operational expenses, vendor transactions, and cash management processes.
• Final approval of all vendor payments (including advance approval of any proposed cash transactions); submit to Controller for timely payment.
• Monitor scheduled and random inventory/cash audits for each store • Proactively ensure compliance with all IDFPR and government regulations; establish and maintain positive relationships with IDFPR and local government representatives.
• Review/monitor weekly store compliance checklists.
• Monitor E-Commerce/Rank Really High, Loyalty/SpringBig, Weedmaps and other metrics/reports to maximize opportunities to increase customer awareness and engagement.
• Direct and oversee all social media/marketing initiatives to ensure consistency throughout the stores and compliance with brand objectives and requirements.
• Monitor social media websites to gauge and maximize customer and employee satisfaction; (e.
g.
GMB, Yelp, Glassdoor).
• Communicate effectively with PEI executive team as needed; monitor and report on established metrics.
• Manage and maintain ongoing, productive relationships with PEI and brand partner executives/resources, multi-site vendors, site security contractors, property landlords, local government officials, and community influencers.
*Qualifications: * · Bachelor’s degree in business · Minimum five years of senior leadership experience within the retail sector; preferably in a multi-location organization · Five + years working in the cannabis industry · Exceptional attention to detail; methodical approach to analysis and problem solving.
· Strong sales and marketing abilities and knowledge of social media/customer engagement platforms.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
· Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to effectively prioritize duties, projects, and tasks.
· High proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, POS systems · Must meet IDFPR Agent Badging Requirements · Highly proficient in Excel, Word, MS Office · Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction · Strong work ethic; ability to adapt to adjusting workload and priority levels.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.
00 - $90,000.
