Job Description JOB OVERVIEW An Inventory Control Associate works within a team to support distribution operations and other internal customers by helping to ensure the accuracy of inventory locations and quantities through cycle counting and variance reconciliation.
Inventory Control promotes safe and timely material handling techniques and enhances efficiency of all distribution processes by applying strong attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, and diligence in completing assignments.
As the Inventory Control Associate you will have an opportunity to: Perform daily Cycle Counts for active and reserve inventory locations.
Verify counts and item accuracy for various departments on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Utilize computer systems, including mobile devices, to research and reconcile inventory issues and problems using adjustments and transfers.
Provides clear and professional verbal and written communication for reporting findings and requesting information.
Actively seeks resolution for misplaced or mislabeled loads to minimize shipping, receiving, and replenishment issues.
Safely operates all equipment following standard work instructions and operating procedures.
Equipment may include order pickers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks.
Education and Training High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred: 1-3 years of inventory control experience.
Preferred: Experience working in a Distribution Center.

Hours/Compensation/Benefits: Hours: Monday-Friday (8 hour shift) Compensation: $19.
56/hr.

Years of Experience 1-3 Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Abilities: Stand, sit, walk, climb stairs and work at heights from floor to 30 feet high.
Lift and shift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
Exercise proper utilization of team lifting for heavier items.
Manual dexterity for operating equipment/machinery.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision.
Demonstrate clear and effective verbal and written communication techniques Environment: Exposure to noise, dust, and climate changes Pay Range: $15.
96 - $22.
50 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
