As Director of Brand and Creative Services at Illinois Farm Bureau you'll play a critical role in helping strategically align the look and feel of our brand through video, photography, and creative design.
Our internal marketing and communications 'agency' is focused on robust tactics to communicate with our members.
We're looking for a proven leader who will lean into strategy and collaboration to create impactful marketing and communications campaigns and other materials that resonate with our county Farm Bureaus and members.
The person in this role will drive efficiency, synergy, and alignment of our brand(s) and creatives.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
How does a Director of Brand and Creative Services make an impact?
Oversees development, coordination, and execution of Illinois Farm Bureau’s (IFB) brand and creative strategies to communicate the organization’s priority issues, news and other information.
Leads video production, creative design and photography teams.
Collaborates across IFB to address issues and identify and implement marketing and communication strategies to deliver messages that impact the organization, agriculture and/or farmers.
Develops and manages the IFB brand, ensuring a consistent look and feel for marketing/promotional materials.
Collaborates with county Farm Bureaus on branding and creative service support.
Leads branding and related support services for all IFB conferences and events.
Performs research, prepares reports, and provides information and counsel to the Board of Directors, relevant committees and other entities, as requested.
Serves on committees as designated.
Manages relationships with vendors/contractors, as needed, to aide in effective execution of marketing and communication strategies.
Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, technology and opportunities within field of responsibility.
Serves as a member of the Marketing & Communications leadership team, participating in the reporting, decision-making, budgeting, and planning activities of the Division.
Foster a positive environment where all team members are motivated and committed to contribute their best work.
Create a safe environment where team members are supported to make decisions and take action to achieve goals and objectives.
Take personal responsibility for making tough decisions, meeting commitments and adapting to ensure expected results are achieved.

Qualifications
Do you have what we're looking for?
Works in some outdoor settings, such as at fairs and festivals.
May be exposed to typical Illinois temperature extremes and farm animals, both in confinement buildings and outside.
Periodic travel throughout the year, including some overnight trips and evening and weekend assignments.
This is an executive leadership role, which typically requires 12+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training, including management experience.
