Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team.
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients.
This position is available in various settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and home care.
Duties: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with mobility and transfers of patients - Provide basic life support in emergency situations - Collect specimens for laboratory testing, including phlebotomy procedures - Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional - Assist with procedures such as spinal taps and catheterizations - Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Skills: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality - Proficient in basic medical procedures such as phlebotomy and catheterization - Knowledge of home care or nursing home protocols and regulations Requirements: - Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for our Nursing Assistants.
