The Village of Rantoul is hiring for Site Supervisors for 2024 season!
The Site Supervisor play an integral role to the upkeep, organization, and reputation of the Village of Rantoul.
The Site Supervisor will assist sports organizers with their tournament needs, keep the facility clean and safe, and establish a good visitor experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Interest in sports operations and game day management
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be at least 17 years of age
Knowledge of the community of Rantoul and the greater Champaign County Area
Must have a valid driver"s license
Money handling experience preferred
Must be able to work nights and weekends
REQUIREMENTS
Organized and possess the ability to multi-task
Must be able to problem solve and possess good judgement during conflict
Managerial experience
Valid state of Illinois drivers' license
Currently have a Food Handlers Certification or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certification within thirty days of being hired
Must be able to work throughout the season which begins in March and ends in October/November
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions of Job -
Oversee part-time staff at the Sports Complex
Ensure that the opening and closing checklist are completed every day
Count the drawers to make sure they are accurate
Communicate with the Recreation Specialist prior to starting shift and at the end of the shift
Enforce Village of Rantoul policies and procedures
Monitor the use of scoreboards and operations by staff and organizers
Oversee the cleanliness of all public access areas, fields, concession buildings, and main building
Assist all staff as needed
Act as a resource to visitors on behalf of the RFSC and community of Rantoul and Champaign County
Act as emergency coordinator in the event of an emergency
