Key Objective
The Farm Manager will solicit, develop and service farm management clients within the guidelines of Bank policies.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage farm agency and trust properties held at Bank of Pontiac Trust Department.
• Work with clients to manage their properties in accordance with the bank’s Trust Department policies.
• Negotiate management contracts with clients.
• Negotiate leases with farm operators.
• Market grain, inspect farm properties.
Correspond with clients, trust beneficiaries, and attorneys.
• Keep current on continuing education and work toward Accredited Farm Manager designation.
• Cross-sells bank services and products
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in Farm Management preferred.
• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with elevated level of accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and overall computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
This is a full-time exempt position located in our Pontiac location.
