Summary Compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Exhibit the Wally's culture and hold each stocking team member accountable to those same standards.
Provide these team members with coaching and assist in evaluations.
Biggest coaching opportunity is that guest service will always trump physical tasks.
Maintain in-stock position by keeping accurate inventory, reviewing all system generated suggested orders, and coordinate a daily stocking plan.
Meet with store manager weekly to review sales opportunities and celebrate wins.
Presentation is key.
Execute plan to keep store front faced prior to all high traffic time periods (6 am, 10 am, 4 pm).
Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.
Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.
Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises various team members.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Reports to guest service manager.

Education and/or Experience Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software; Project Management software; Order processing systems and Database software.
