Assistant Manager (FT)

If you enjoy a fast-paced customer service oriented environment, then we have a spot for you! Job Summary: The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager with daily store operations and creating an outstanding customer experience.
Areas of Responsibility: Ensure the highest level of customer service.
Responsible for assisting the General Manager in creating and maintaining a customer friendly environment.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or inquiries.
Manage shifts with prioritization based upon store needs and tasks as required.
Ensure conditions across the store exceed company standards.
Complies with all federal, state, and local laws and company policies and procedures.
Requirements: Works various shifts including holidays and on call (as needed).
Manages store operations in the absence of the General Manager.
Resolves customer service related issues and leads by example.
Has a full understanding of inventory receiving and auditing.
Understanding of inventory system and how to interpret sales data.
Works with vendors.
Completes required daily paperwork and troubleshoots any errors.
Knowledgeable in creating and maintaining store schedules.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.
Management experience in retail, food, or fuel.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Natural leader, effective motivator, and communicator.
Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be flexible with hours.
Must be flexible with location.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
