The Chatsworth Prinsco has an opportunity for a self-starter to lead our yard.

This position pays between $21-$23/hr.
This position will
• Coordinate daily work assignments and provide daily leadership in safety and compliance for all employees on the crew.
• Safely load/unload products and complete maintenance inspection of assigned forklifts at start of shift.
• Load required items on pick tickets and maintain yard inventory in an organized manner.
• Accept load sheets from dispatcher and coordinate with the proper trailer and tractor.
• Provide prompt, polite service to pick-up customers.

We require the following qualifications:
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months general manufacturing experience with warehousing experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a supervisor or team lead.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to complete mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.
• Ability to work in a loud noise environment; lift up to 25 pounds consistently and 75 pounds occasionally; use hands and reach with hands/arms, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for up to 2/3 of the workday; and good distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision and depth perception.
