be/CSVMnKCySsY PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Responsible for a team who architect, configure, install, monitor, and maintain IT customer software and hardware standards and solutions, to include critical endpoint management, remote server operations for facilities and location servers.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHP Manage a team of System Administrators and Configuration Management analyst that develop, implement, and support new/existing enterprise and critical systems and critical remote facility servers including staffing, evaluating performance, organizing, and directing employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the research and development of the specifications and procedures for the installation and operation of a variety of information system technologies.
Consults with and makes recommendations to IT and its customers on selection of hardware and software products to address business requirements.
Responsible for ensuring endpoints maintain the latest endpoint protection security standards.
Manages line of business servers critical to facility operations and the vendor (DTN, Kahler, etc.
) software required for the various line of business operations.
This includes preparation, integration with vendor software, installation, ongoing operation, and cyclical replacement.
Monitoring remote critical servers at numerous locations throughout our geography.
Responsible for managing after-hours and onsite support as needed.
Play a key role in the procurement of new hardware, software, and services.
Including duties around completing cost analysis and identifying purchasing efficiencies to ensure that the proper solutions and products are being acquired for the roles that need to be fulfilled.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Provide strong customer service for internal and external customers as well as Business Partners.
Identify opportunities and develop processes to educate customers on new or existing technologies, software, and/or hardware utilization.
Will identify, develop, and perform outreach programs to work with business units and customers to use technology more effectively and efficiently.
Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the latest endpoint threats and how to mitigate them.
Responsible for ensuring endpoints maintain the latest endpoint protection security standards.
Responsible for ensuring physical security of endpoints through encryption technology and asset management techniques.
Research, develop, and implement practices, policies, software, and hardware solutions alike to further harden endpoints to secure them from both intentional and unintentional malicious activity.
Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in business or computer science, or the equivalent thereof, and 5+ years or more of IT related work to demonstrate knowledge of information systems technologies and leadership.
Normally requires a current technical certification from a vendor or certifying authority that is pertinent to the GROWMARK System; for example, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), etc.
to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge.
Normally requires 5+ years’ experience managing a team and multiple projects and 5+ years with endpoint management.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical material.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a technical certification from a vendor or certifying authority that is pertinent to the GROMWARK System.
Ability to work other than normal business days and hours.
Ability to travel independently and overnight and be assigned temporarily to client locations, technical conferences, training, etc.
Must obtain and maintain a passport for support of Canadian operations.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
