Enterprise Program Office Program Manager Job Number: 240130 Primary Location: US-IL-Bloomington Other Locations: US-GA-Alpharetta The Leadership Triad Program Management Lead is accountable for establishing, driving and maintaining the program’s scope, schedule and budget, and for the quality and completeness of the system and business processes ultimately delivered to achieve the strategic business mission.
The Program Management Lead partners with the Triad Business and Technology leads to deliver solutions that meet program objectives and enable business case outcomes.
The Program Manager will be responsible for delivering COUNTRY Financial's new Life Policy Administration System and conversion off the legacy platform.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL, or Alpharetta, GA.
How does a Program Management Lead make an impact? Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones; tracks project milestones and deliverables.
Develop Project Charter, Scope, Stakeholders and Project Team Organization.
Determines the frequency and content of status reports from project team, analyzes results and troubleshoots problem areas.
Conducts project post mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Do you have what we're looking for? Oversee how team activities are supported and driven to achieve program objectives and KPI targets.
Promote Enterprise Program Office (EPO) leading program management practices to stakeholders and team members; Involve EPO leadership for advice and guidance on specific program management issues as needed.
Lead communications with the Executive Steering Committee and Leadership Council.
Oversee and provide direction to the various teams and release trains that together constitute the program, both business and technical, core and supporting.
Adhere to EPO best practices consistent with Tech PMO methodology; Support the application and refinement of Lean Scaled Agile development methods.
Facilitate planning and logistics for program increments, stakeholder engagement, sprints, testing, change management, program communications, release readiness, training, and benefits tracking.
Facilitate risk and issue resolution across the program; Implement and manage a process for controlling changes to program scope.
Create timely reports and updates for the leadership and stakeholders level regarding program status, key decisions, impediments, and risks.
Support and influence solution architects, release train engineers, scrum masters and tech leads in their development of a practical business results-oriented approach to Lean Scaled Agile delivery.
Provide guidance and skill development opportunities to program management team members.
Participate in and support Agile Communities of Practice.
Typically requires 14 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
