*Job Description:*
As the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will lead our forecasting and financial planning function, providing essential business partnering and financial support to our Life Insurance and Investment teams.
Your team will conduct analysis on internal and external factors to drive new business strategies, challenge assumptions, and generate actionable insights to enhance profitability and facilitate growth.
This role offers a hybrid work schedule and is based at our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
*Responsibilities:*
* Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and budgets.
* Cultivate and maintain cross-functional relationships with key business partners.
* Influence decision-makers through effective verbal and written communication, including creating compelling presentations to drive better business decisions.
* Manage forecasting processes, including quarterly forecasts and scenario modeling.
* Develop detailed financial models to evaluate strategic priorities and alternatives.
* Enhance the accuracy and efficiency of forecast processes through automation.
* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas, ensuring employee communication during emergencies.
*Requirements:*
* Strong financial and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated curiosity and ability to leverage datasets for strategic insights and storytelling.
* Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Effective coaching skills to develop team members.
* CPA designation preferred.
* Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours as required.
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including management experience.
