We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Operations Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation operations, including fleet management, driver supervision, route planning, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The Transportation Operations Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction.
*Responsibilities:*
* Manage and supervise a team of drivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety regulations
* Oversee fleet management, including maintenance, repairs, and vehicle inspections
* Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of drivers and provide feedback for improvement
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
* Must be willing to travel to local service markets, work extended hours, weekends and some holidays
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
* Proven experience in transportation operations management, preferably in a similar industry
* Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using transportation management software and other relevant tools - Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Valid driver's license
* Must be able to pass drug test and obtain a medical card
