Epiphany Farms Hospitality Group\* (EFHG) is looking for a highly organized and passionate individual who is quick to adapt and understand Epiphany Farm's mission & beliefs.
The primary focus of the *Special Events Coordinator* position at EFHG is overseeing the whole event lifecycle, including sales, detailing, execution and closing the event.
This position will directly work with restaurant General Managers, chefs and the Special Events team to provide the utmost service and experience to our guests as a Jr.
Manager.
EFHG offers onsite as well as catering services for all private dining needs.
EFHG boasts 4 different restaurant venues, 2 event halls, a beautiful 70 acre farm with newly renovated event facilities and offers a full catering service for any offsite locations.
A Successful Special Events Coordinator at Epiphany Farms would possess the following capabilities and be responsible for the job duties including but not limited to: *Key Competencies:* * Strong drive for excellence and eagerness to learn * Sense of urgency and attention to detail * Organizational and record keeping skills * Quick to adapt and learn computer based programs and system * Leadership skills in delegation, coaching, motivating, growing talents * Strong and effective communication skills in English both in verbal and written * Being accountable for measurable, high-quality, and timely results.
*Responsibilities including but not limited to:* * Assisting and overseeing the entire lifecycle of events, including responding to the leads, detailing, staffing, coordinating necessary departments, successful execution, and post-event management.
* Gaining knowledge of the POS system for taking payments, entering items, applying to correct accounts.
* Utilizing a third party event booking system together with office computer program to organize and record the details.
* Build event team roster and review staff schedules to ensure all event needs are supported while meeting the labor costs goals.
* Overseeing multiple events on a given day and being able to prioritize tasks, delegate projects to the team and know the most effective time and place to be.
* Review and develop the service protocol including inventories, catering / on-site event procedures, packing list etc.
* Communicate constantly with the culinary team to coordinate food service and build effective, efficient menu to provide high quality service and experience to guests.
* Handle and assist the company organized and internal events.
* Support restaurant operations during slower season/days as needed.
* Learn restaurant menu, culinary system, and FOH service standards to properly quote, set and detail the event.
* Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction * Uphold open communication with Executives and other leaders of the company for efficiency and transparency.
* Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors and lead by example.

* Highly organized and a great note-taker * A sense of urgency, a positive attitude, and a team player mentality * Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts, including the team, other managers, vendors, and guests * Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and dining holidays.
* Possess a valid drivers license and a stable vehicle to travel between properties as well as catering locations.
