Youth Sports Summer Camp Lead Instructor

Normal Parks & Rec is looking for youth sports coaches to run a PE-style program that has participants entering 2nd-6th grade.
This is a great job for applicants interested in teaching Physical Education.
The program meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am-11am through the months of June and July.

(Children Outside Being Really Active) Boys and girls will participate in a variety of sports and games such as soccer, basketball, kick ball, capture the flag, summer Olympics, disc golf and so much more.
COBRA introduces new games, teaches sportsmanship/teamwork and allows participants to make new friends.
Examples of Work Performed: * Follow weekly practice plans * Instructing groups of children (Grades 2-6) on new games and activities while also ensuring participants have fun.
* Enforcing program rules * Care of supplies and equipment Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Must be able to demonstrate proper techniques to participants * Must enjoy working with young children * Must be outgoing and able to lead The Town of Normal is an equal opportunity employer.
