Second Presbyterian Church Preschool mission is to educate the hearts and minds of young children to know and love God.
It also includes preparing them for the next step in their educational development by providing a loving and supporting environment, age appropriate educational interaction, social and emotional interactions with peers and communicating biblical truths in a meaningful way.
We strive to partner with families to achieve a positive early childhood experience for every child.
_*Education and Experience*_ A _*DCFS *_ qualified director that includes associate degree in early childhood development or early childhood education, or the equivalent of 64 college credit hours with at least 21 being in early childhood development or early childhood education.
Prefer a minimum of 2 years of early childhood experience.
_*Responsibilities*_ * Development of philosophy, goals, discipline, curriculum and program planning * Oversee day to day operations * Promote in-service training * Serve as the liason to Second Pres, _*DCFS*_ and Preschool families * Coordinate the Preschool calendar and special events * Responsible for Preschool communications, social media and marketing training \*\*\*Salary is based on experience\*\*\* The Director shall work no less than 20 hours per week when school is in session and as needed throughout the year.
The Director position is a 12 month contract.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18,000.
