com *Salary Range: *$70,000 - $85,000 *Overview: * The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Clubhouse, including restaurant, bar, kitchen, events and banquets.
The primary responsibility of the Clubhouse Manager is to drive the culture of hospitality excellence, standards of service and member engagement.
Works closely with the Grounds Superintendent, Club Professional and the Board of Directors.
The Clubhouse Manager is the main “face” of the club to members and quests and responsible to ensure a welcoming and memorable experience.
*Job Requirements: * * A Hospitality Management degree and/or advanced knowledge of management in the restaurant, banquet and event industries.
* High-level communication skills, both written and oral.
* Computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Point of Sale, Payroll Management and social media.
* Strong skills in P&L, Budgeting, Accounting Methods, Payroll and Business Software.
* Must have significant event planning, banquet, restaurant and bar experience.
* Golf Club experience is NOT required.
*Responsibilities Include: * * Creates a feeling of overall Hospitality, Warmth and Energy through interactions with Members, Staff and Guests.
* Maintains high visibility, regularly communicating and interfacing with Members, both in person and through structured written communications.
* Plans and implements budgets.
Develops an operating and payroll budget working closely with the board of directors.
Responsible for all financial management of the clubhouse.
* Takes a “Coaching and Teaching” approach to team member development and directs corrective action procedures as necessary.
* Plans and coordinates training and development programs.
* Responsible for hiring, coaching, disciplinary action, and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
* Hands on management style which conveys teamwork and accountability.
* Approves staffing and collaborates on the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for all Clubhouse departments.
* Collaborates with department heads to develop and assess long-range plans including staffing and capital equipment.
* Is the Clubhouse staff liaison for appropriate board committees and attends Board of Directors meetings.
* Implements policies and procedures for the Clubhouse operations departments * Responds to member/guest complaints and promptly addresses their concerns.
* Monitors safety conditions and team member conformance with safety procedures.
* Holds and attends regular team meetings for reports, developing alignment across all areas of responsibility.
* Ensures employee performance is reviewed on a regular basis, and employee evaluations are conducted in a timely fashion across all areas of responsibility.
* Manages processes and systems that ensures the maintenance and upkeep of all Clubhouse equipment and general environment.
Assists in the planning of facility improvements, remodeling/repairs and interacts with appropriate Club committee.
* Ensures systems of accountability for product inventory in all areas of responsibility.
* The Clubhouse Manager is the key coordinator for organizing all the details with departments in the planning of events and banquets.
* As a “Team Player” of El Paso Golf Club, the Clubhouse Manager must be flexible and is required to perform any job, in whatever capacity, as requested by the Board of Directors that may be necessary for smooth operation and positive experience for club members, guests and staff.
*El Paso Golf Club: * EPGC is a semi-private golf club golf with an exceptional well-maintained golf course with over 30,000 rounds played each year.
It has a full bar, restaurant and banquet room.
The restaurant and bar welcome the general public along with its 500 members.
