*Overall Responsibility:*
Maintain overall facility cleanliness and perform quality checks to assure that the facility environment is sanitary and suitable to produce safe, quality products.
Promote safe environment and practices.
*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and coordinate all facility sanitation activities across three production shifts.
* Schedule, train, and coach all assigned staff to achieve and maintain sanitation objectives.
* Conduct employee performance reviews, adherence to SSOPs, and lead coaching sessions
* Ensure documentation completion and review, always assuring audit readiness
* Maintain chemical specifications and evaluate their effectiveness/proper application for different processing and packaging equipment.
* Oversee the proper dispensing of sanitation chemicals and verify concentration for effectiveness
* Maintain order, cleanliness, and security of the sanitation chemical storage areas
* Ensure proper disposal of waste material
* Maintain paper goods and non chemical inventory of operating supplies
* Oversee laundering of employee protective wear
* Build and maintain a master sanitation schedule and related documentation
* Participate in the development and auditing of SSOP's
* Strictly enforce GMP's, food safety & quality policies, and occupational safety policies to maintain a safe work environment and superior plant cleanliness.
*Skills Required:*
* Team-orientated personality
* Ability to communicate at a high level, both written and verbal
* Working knowledge of FDA, SQF, and OSHA requirements
* Comfortable on computers
* Detail orientated and attentive
* Proficient in mathematics
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Ability to work in environmental conditions *(HOT & COLD).
