About the Position
We are looking for a full-time Medical Director that is dedicated to practicing quality medicine while creating a collaborative and positive environment for our team and our clients.
The Medical Director provides medical leadership for the hospital, manages Associate Veterinarians and assures regulatory compliance related to the practice of veterinary medicine.

Our vision at Timbercrest Veterinary Service, PC is to establish a monumental veterinary practice though adapting technology and advancing our knowledge base to provide excellent veterinary service to both small and large animal clients.
Timbercrest offers Large and Small Animal ultrasound, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, in house blood analyzers, Large Animal haul in facilities with hydraulic tilt chute as well as a dedicated Large Animal truck for farm call use.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is someone who values community and diversity and is passionate about people and pets! This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a desire to lead our practice.
The incoming Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing all professional services, implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters, and will ultimately serve as “Veterinarian in charge.

Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
Strong fondness and understanding of animals
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of animal behavior
Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
