* Assure tha t the organ iza tion has a long-range stra tegy wh ich ach ieves its m ission ; toward wh ich it m akes consisten t and tim e ly p rogress.
* Prom ote active and broad pa rticipa tion by volun tee rs.
* Review and e ffective ly m ain ta in officia l business records and docum en ts, and ensure com pliance with fede ra l, sta te and loca l regu la tions.
* Keeps abreast of sign ifican t deve lopm en ts and trends in the fie ld .
* Estab lish sound working re la tionsh ips and coope ra tive a rrangem en ts with com m unity g roups and organ iza tions.
* Represen t the p rogram s and poin t of view of the organ iza tion to agencie s, organ iza tions, and the genera l pub lic.
* Encourage sta ff and volun tee r deve lopm en t a ssist p rogram sta ff in re la ting the ir specia lized work to the to ta l p rogram of the organ iza tion .
* Main ta in a clim a te wh ich a ttracts, keeps, and m otiva te s a d ive rse and top qua lity sta ff.
* Deve lop annua l budge t for the agency and ensure tha t p rogram s have fund ing ava ilab le to m ee t budge t expecta tions as we ll a s secu ring new fund ing to support p rogram growth .

* Minim um of a Bache lor’s Degree , an advanced degree in business, non- profit m anagem en t, socia l work, pub lic adm in istra tion or a re la ted fie ld is desirab le .
