*Director of Media and Publications * *JOB QUALIFICATIONS * * Active, dedicated Christian striving for excellence in life and ministry * Dependable and a self-starter * Able to handle large volumes of work involving deadlines and prioritizing * Able to hold sensitive information in confidence * Willing and able to work the extra hours sometimes required * Eager to participate as a team player in this ministry * Tech savvy and proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Publisher, and database entry * General competencies with website maintenance and graphic design (or willing to learn) * Able to work 25 hours weekly Monday-Thursday.
*REPORTS TO: *Senior Pastor *STARTING WAGES:* $16-18/hour *PUBLICATIONS * * Weekly Bulletin and Prayer Guide * Develop promotional materials such as posters, banners, and brochures * Special publications such as Devotional Guides, Missionary Profile Directories, Youth Calendars *PROMOTIONS * * Work with other Staff members to develop a promotions plan for events and ministries.
Then oversee the implementation of that plan.
* Coordinate Media, Website and Social Media elements in promoting Grace Church, events, and ministries.
*MEDIA TEAM * * Develop and oversee the material used on the church monitors and sanctuary screen.
* Assist the Worship Pastor in working with other Staff and ministry leaders in the development of media pieces for the website.
*WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA * * Ensure website content is current and up to date.
* Post announcements and other information as needed * Serve on any Team that reviews and updates the website.
* Update content on all Social Media platforms.
*OTHER – GENERAL OFFICE * * Assist in other office projects, mailings and tasks as needed.
* Oversee the church calendar/campus schedule * Prepare the Elder Folders for monthly Elder Meetings * Serve as receptionist as needed.
This includes welcoming and assisting people who come to the office and answering the phone.
* Expand needed skills through training seminars, conferences, and classes.
* Other projects and tasks as assigned Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.
