), with 2+ years of relevant experience * In lieu of degree, 5+ years of chemical management or analysis * Lab Experience *Job Duties* 1.
Maintain and operate various lab equipment such as IR Spectrophotometer, GC, viscometers, particle counters used in the analysis of wash chemicals, coolants, and oils.

Lab test central system coolants weekly & maintain data.
3.
Test viscosity of test stand fluids per weekly schedule - calibration and hydraulic oils, generate weekly report, issue cleanouts when necessary 4.
Measure water content in quench oils 5.
Lab test and shop trial new wash chemicals, coolants, and oils 6.
Perform QC testing on inbound coolants, cleaners, and oils 7.
Perform fuel lubricity testing.
8.
Maintain work instructions and documents related to job responsibilities 9.
Test water and particulate in RP oil dip tanks, 6 tanks 2X per month 10.
Perform non-routine, ad hoc analysis supporting RCCA/reliability.
*Test methods and frequency to be determined by Caterpillar management.

Central System Coolant Analysis – Perform testing on 8 central systems each week.
Update spreadsheet by Friday morning with test data.
Schedule weekly update with Cat management, in-person or through Teams.
Send monthly samples to Dubois for additional testing.
2.
Test stand calibration and oil testing (15 tests per week) - Perform testing per weekly schedule.
Issue cleanouts as needed.
Update spreadsheet.
Send test report within two days of sample collection.

Water content in quench oils – Test water content via FTIR on six quench samples 2X per month.

Record data in spreadsheet within 2 days of sample submission.
4.
Perform QC testing on inbound chemicals/oils and update spreadsheet within 5 days of sample submission.
Average 8 samples per month.
5.
Perform fuel lubricity testing as needed.
Send test report within 5 days of sample submission.
On average 2 samples per month.
6.
RP dip tanks – Collect and test oil samples from 5 agitated dip tanks 2X per month.
Record data.
7.
Ensure all work-related documents are updated monthly (if needed).
