Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant.
The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the establishment, providing exceptional customer service, and managing a team of dedicated staff members.
Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee morale
- Train and supervise staff members in all aspects of food service, bartending, and customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide coaching as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in the coffee or restaurant industry is required
- Proven track record in inventory control, supervising, food service, bartending, food handling, team management, and restaurant management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems/software used for restaurant operations
