Operations Manager

_*Pay for this position depends on experience.
*_ _*This position is responsible for the outside operations of Cooksville Grain elevator.
This role includes customer service, employee supervision, safety training, facility and equipment maintenance, inventory control and assisting the General Manager in achieving all of the company goals.
*_ _*Essential Job Duties:*_ * _*Abide by all cooperative safety and environmental policies, protocol and procedures*_ * _*Supervise and train outside employees in the operations of the elevator.
Duties include: promoting teamwork and a positive image of Cooksville Grain.
*_ * _*Assure the proper grain storage and condition to maintain the highest quality possible.
Duties include: segregating inventory according to grade and moisture, ensuring proper aeration, checking temperature and sampling quality.
*_ * _*Assure efficient operation of grain dryer(s).
Duties include: drying wet grain down to target moisture levels while avoiding shrink and maintaining quality*_ * _*Coordinating grain receiving operations for maximum efficiencies while being responsive to the needs of our customers.
*_ * _*Coordinate grain shipping operations for maximum efficiencies, while properly blending grain to meet grade.
*_ * _*Manage facility assets for optimum performance, including preventative management, and repairing equipment.
*_ * _*Promote a clean facility and ensure compliance with housekeeping policies, procedures and standards.
*_ * _*Promote and adhere to all policies to ensure a safe work environment.
*_ * _*Work extended hours during the fall harvest season.
*_ * _*Be at work on time and ready to work with a neat and clean appearance.
*_ * _*All other duties as assigned.
