Job Summary
The Chorus/Vocal Director will teach courses at University High School.
University High School is a service unit of the College of Education of Illinois State University.
It offers a comprehensive program of instruction for over 600 students in grades 9-12.
This unique school acts as a laboratory for 21st century educational innovation and research.
The mission of the school is to provide a site in which excellence in education theory may be connected to practice.
Extracurricular duties may be assigned.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package
Required Qualifications
1.
Bachelor's Degree
2.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement to teach chorus at the high school level.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching Experience
Work Hours
Generally Monday - Friday, school hours with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
