Hearing Itinerant Teacher-Full Time

Duties: The Hearing Itinerant Teacher is responsible for providing high quality instruction to students with hearing impairments based on frequent assessment and data analysis and providing services through a structured and supportive environment that provides for student growth.
Consultation with general education teachers and related service personnel, serving as case manager and training and monitoring of teaching assistants are also priorities.
Start date for this position is August 2023.
Qualifications: Illinois Educator License, Required endorsement and licensure for Hearing Itinerant Teacher Signing bonus: $1000 at signing and $1000 at beginning of second year.
