Sylvan Learning of Central IL is looking for a Part-Time Upper Level Math tutor! As a part-time Sylvan tutor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group setting.
You will provide personalized instruction in the subjects you are qualified to and wish to teach.

Responsibilities:
* Instruct students by following Sylvan's curriculum
* Evaluate and document student progress
* Manage students, tasks and time to create a balanced and robust instructional, educational session
* Supports procedures to ensure student safety and well-being
* Communicate any student needs to center director
* Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment
* Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching at Sylvan!
Requirements:
* Able to Engage, motivate and inspire students to learn
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible
* Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Position Details:
* Part- Time position starting at $14
* Flexible scheduling Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday 9:00am-2:00pm
* Reports to: Center Director
* No prep! Fully prepared lesson plans and materials are provided!
