Description
We seek applicants for part-time instructors to teach Construction/Building Maintenance courses during future semesters through HCC’s Career and Technical Education division.
Courses offered in this area include Building Maintenance Fundamentals, Technical Service Industry Skills, Construction Materials & Methods, Construction Documents, Estimating & Scheduling, CAD for Construction, and others.
Requirements
Minimum of 2,000 hours of demonstrated experience in the construction and building maintenance fields
Relevant industry certifications
Daytime and/or evening on-campus availability
Knowledge of and experience in general construction methods and techniques, home remodeling and renovation, and standard building maintenance
Desired Qualifications
Successful teaching experience
Post-secondary degree
