Training in F/J visa advising will be provided to new professionals.

Note: Master's or equivalent degree in Education Administration, College Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, Business, Communications, Linguistics, or other related field may be substituted for this experience.
Master’s degree must be conferred prior to start date.
Ability to meet Designated School Official (DSO) requirements, as federally regulated by the Department of Homeland Security.

Preferred Qualifications Experience serving as a Designated School Official (DSO) and/or Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO).
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to research, analyze, interpret, and synthesize complex information from a variety of sources.
Experience with Terra Dotta (ISSS Student software) and PeopleSoft or similar campus database system(s).
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to independently set priorities, coordinate, and complete a variety of competing tasks within established deadlines.
Ability to handle sensitive information and data, use proper discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work with faculty, administrators, admissions staff, students, and individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Work Hours Core Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday; some evenings and weekends required Functional Expectations Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
