PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Seasonal Traveling Auto Technicians for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier.
This Traveling Auto Technicians position offers an AM Day shift plus Overtime and is based out of Normal, IL.
Candidates meeting the requirements for this Traveling Auto Technicians position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Day shift plus Overtime available.
Shift Schedule:
• AM Day shift: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm (Monday - Saturday)
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days/week
Retirees and veterans are welcome
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' automotive technician / mechanic experience or equivalent military experience
• Need to be able to work 6 days, 12-hour shifts
• Will need to have the following tools: 3/8 drive sockets, 3/8 drive torque wrench, screw drivers, torque bits, trim tools
• Must be able to travel for 2 months at a time
• Must have own transportation
• Must have well rounded technician / mechanical experience and knowledge
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must have good attention to detail
• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
• Must be an automotive technician / mechanic with a high level of urgency, motivation, and enthusiasm to learn
• Must have reliable attendance and the willingness to work overtime/weekends
Preferred Skills:
• Ford experience
• State/ASE certifications
• Willingness and availability to work the afternoon shift
