Mail Delivery Driver- Independent Contractor

Position: Mail Delivery Driver Overview: We are seeking reliable and responsible independent contractors to fill the role of mail delivery drivers.
The primary duty of this role is to pick up and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses while adhering to the designated delivery routes and schedules.
The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills, a good knowledge of the local area, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Responsibilities: - Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery - Load and unload mail and packages from delivery vehicle - Deliver mail and packages to designated addresses - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages - Collect and process outgoing mail and packages - Obtain signatures and receipts for delivered packages when necessary - Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle - Follow all traffic and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle - Report any delivery issues or discrepancies to the supervisor - Provide excellent customer service to recipients Requirements: - Must have a reliable mode of transportation, *MINIVAN OR SMALL CARGO ONLY.
* - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Ability to lift and carry small packages - Excellent navigational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail - Good communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and efficiently - Familiarity with postal regulations and procedures is a plus - Bilingual a plus but not required.
Experience: - Minium 2yrs is preferred but not required delivery driver or mail handling is a plus.
