Field Service Technician (All of IL) PATHFINDER SYSTEMS INC Compensation: $25+ per hour plus mileage or Flat Rate Employment type: contract Job title: Field Service Technician Manufacturer of agricultural machinery needs field technician for Illinois.
Ideally candidates would live the central region of Illinois.
Technician will maintain/service approximately 60 machines in the field.
We will supply all parts/tools and training.
Technician must have reliable transportation.
All machines are serviced once in the Spring, once during Summer/use season and once before Winter sets in.
We are looking for individuals that are detail oriented with a great personality and great communication skills.
Applicants should have good troubleshooting skills, be detail oriented, able to work with hand tools, have experience with computers/tablets and be able to fill out paperwork effectively.
This is an ideal job for someone looking for part-time work.
Estimated actual days of work each year are around 50 total working days.
Pay can either be hourly with a reimbursement for mileage or a flat per service call.
This is not a sales position.
You need only to service the units.
This is ideal for a retired/semi-retired technical person.
