Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join our team as Regional Drivers.
As a Regional Driver, you will be responsible for transporting cargo safely and efficiently within a designated regional area, ensuring on-time deliveries and adhering to all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation: Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, safely and responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption, taking into account traffic patterns and road conditions.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by delivering cargo on time and handling any inquiries or concerns from clients professionally.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely, including trip logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports.
Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
Must be 22 years of age or older.
No history of DWI/DUI violations.
