Jets: Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers Description: Delivery drivers deliver pizzas and other food orders.
For delivery customers, the driver may be their only contact with an impression of Jet’s Pizza.
The delivery driver delivers products on an established route, collects money from customers, and makes change.
Characteristics/Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old.
* Excellent driving record.
* Valid driver’s license.
Some states require a chauffeur’s license.
* Car registration up to date * Proof of (current/valid) car insurance.
Check to make sure it covers business use of auto.
* Reasoning ability.
* Mathematical ability.
* Language ability.
* Communication and interpersonal ability.
* Tip: Request the driver’s driving record from the secretary of State’s office for a small fee.
* Also, check driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance upon renewal and at random intervals, as they may expire at any time.
Responsibilities: * Drives vehicle to deliver pizza and other product to customer’s home or place of business.
* Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
* Records sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
* Checks order accuracy.
* Checks product quality and price.
* Checks delivery customer’s address and location.
* Listens to and resolves service complaints.
* Assists the other employees when periods are slow and other duties can be assigned.
* Have a clean car always (inside and out).
Salary Range: $14.
00 In-House $8.
50 on-road plus tips and mileage Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.
