The Night Auditor plays a very important role within the hotel.
What Does a Night Auditor Do? Night auditors perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties.
They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests.
They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.
This is a part time position- After Training it will be 2-3 shifts per week.
Hours of shift: 11p-7am
status: Part time- could lead to additional hours during holidays and employee request off dates.
Requirements:
Must be at least 20 years old to serve/sell liquor.
Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
Must be able to operate computer systems such as Microsoft word, outlook, excel, internet explorer
Must have command of the English language.
Be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
be able to stand for up to 8 hours
Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Responsibilities:
Running end of day reports
Check guests in and out of hotel rooms.
Wash, dry, fold and put away hotel linens.
enter data into a spreadsheet/online portals
sending survey emails
light cleaning around the public spaces of the hotel
Security walks
Customer Service
Checks and Balances of hotel folios
Setting up Breakfast, preparing breakfast food such as scrambled eggs and a meat such as bacon or sausage.
Clerical/accounting work
If you have experience working with in accounting, hospitality, customer service= all of these fields would greatly help you be successful with this position.
Tips - are possible during open bar hours which are 4:30pm to 11:30pm.
Often on Fridays and Saturdays we stay open until 1am.
This requires you to have a Basset Certificate which we can help you obtain.
