JOB TITLE: Camp and Retreat Center Intern

Interns are being sought for the fall of 2024 in the areas of:
Environmental Education, Ministry, Child Development, Social Work, Engineering, Marketing, Website Development, Fundraising, and Business.
East Bay camp provides low to no cost housing options for interns who have aligned internship goals with the camp's mission of connecting people, nature and Christ.
Our goal is to find individuals who are passionate about being out of doors and who have a love for Jesus.
EBC Internships have the potential to be funded in a lump sum or through an hourly rate.
Housing, utilities, internet and food service (when guests are being served) are included.
Intern candidates must have their own transportation, and be open to occassional evening and weekend hours when guests are on site.
*WORKING CONDITIONS:*
1.
A typical outdoor camp setting with daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying weather conditions; uneven terrain, woods, and lake.
2.
Standing for extended periods of time, bending, reaching, and lifting heavy objects.
3.
Eating in a camp setting.
4.
Irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*: This position requires the ability to work as a team member and leader, listen to others, read text and information, and comprehend instructions and manuals.
The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to operate with proficiency all the tools, vehicles, and appliances, and the physical ability to move about the camp property in various environmental conditions.
The position also requires the ability to lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $14.
00 - $18.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 28 per week
