Early Learning Teacher

*RESPONSIBILITIES* This position is responsible for the care and education of a group of children, as part of a teaching team, and functions as the team leader or co-leader.
The teacher plans and implements the curriculum, and with active participation of other members of the teaching team, works with parents and assesses the needs of the individual children.
This person must be able to effectively supervise other staff and volunteers assisting in the classroom, be sensitive to the needs of the individual children, and relate well to both children and adults.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS* § Must be at least 19 years of age § Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit; 6 hours which must be on child development or related field.
§ Associates or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or Child Development preferred.
§ Experience teaching, developing and implementing curriculum for young children is preferred.
§ Proficiency in English required.
§ Good verbal and written communication skills required.
§ Proficient in at least one other language is helpful.
§ Must be available to start work as soon as possible.
*WORK HOURS* Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
