Early Learning Assistant Teacher, Part Time

*RESPONSIBILITIES* The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting in the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team.
The assistant teacher is an active participant of the teaching team by taking direction from lead teacher while in classroom.
The assistant teacher assists in working with parents and assists in assessing the needs of the individual children.
The assistant teacher must be able to effectively assist in the classroom, be sensitive to the needs of the children, and relate well with both the children and adults.
All assistant teachers are actively engaged with children at all times.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS* * Must be at least 18 years of age * High school diploma or GED required * A.

A.
degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
* Experience teaching, developing, and implementing curriculum for young children preferred.
* Proficiency in English required * Good verbal and written communication skills required * Proficient in at least one other language is helpful.
* Must be available to start work as soon as possible.
*WORK HOURS* Full-time and part time positions available, between the hours of 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday, depending upon scheduling needs.
Full benefits package included for full time position.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.
25 - $15.
75 per hour Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: Mask-wearing is optional.
Disposable masks are available at the front desk/reception areas, and hand sanitizers are available throughout the building.
