Insurance Collection Specialist

Ireland Grove Center for Surgery provides exceptional surgical services for patients who require ENT, Orthopedics, and Pain Management procedures.
We are looking to hire a full-time employee to assist in our fast pace and growing business office.
The *Insurance Collections Specialist* is responsible for working insurance aging and collections, patient collections, medical records, denied claims and rejected claims.
*This position is Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm with a ½ hour break.
* *The main day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to*: -Working insurance aging reports -Contacting insurance companies for unpaid claims -Preparing patients for collections process -Taking patient payments -Providing itemized statements upon request -Completing medical records requests -Other duties as assigned *Some billing and scheduling duties that will be cross trained on include:* -Entering charges for procedures (including CPT codes, CPT modifiers and diagnosis codes) -Submitting claim submission (electronically and paper form) -Entering in insurance and patient payments -Working rejected claims -Checking in patients -Entering surgical orders *Ireland Grove Center for Surgery is looking for someone to join the team that is eager to work hard and has the flexibility to go with the flow.
