Accounting Specialist

*Duties:* - Ensure precise vendor invoice processing.
- Reconcile accounts and vendor statements.
- Assist with vendor payments.
- Conduct month-end calculations.
- Compile and organize data.
- Engage in cross-training for versatility.
*Qualifications:* - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum 1 year experience in accounting or finance role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word) - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis - Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and reports - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment *About the company:* The Music Shoppe is a three-store retail operation with locations in Normal, Champaign, and Springfield.
